Case Study
Virtual Job Fair
Here is a case study of a Virtual Job Fair that we organized.
Event Duration: 5 days
Participant Profile
Visitors: Job Seekers
Exhibitors: Employers
Event Description
Our client needed to fill several positions across different departments. Given the pandemic situation, they opted for a virtual solution to meet their labor needs.
The client launched a web-based promotional campaign to encourage job seekers to come work for their organization. Each department had a virtual booth featuring job offers, videos, and images. Several conferences took place during the event. To access the SVI platform, participants had to complete a registration form before and/or during the event.
Eleven thousand five hundred seventy-five (11,575) job seekers participated in the Virtual Fair. They were able to visit the thirty-five (35) booths, apply for job offers, and watch live or pre-recorded conferences.
Job seekers were able to interact with recruiters during the networking day and had access to recruiters’ virtual rooms based on their availability.
Our Mandate
After customizing the SVI platform with the client’s branding, we added the event logo to the platform. We created several roles and granted different permissions to the platform users.
Subsequently, we provided training on the platform’s operation to the person in charge of the event. Following the training, this person acquired the necessary autonomy to effectively organize and manage their event.
We established a meeting schedule to address the client’s questions. During the event, our technical team was available to provide support.
The Results
Several hundred people participated in the event. Employers conducted dozens of interviews. Employers had the opportunity to view the resumes of job seekers who visited their virtual booth and were able to contact them after the virtual job fair.
