Virtual Job Fair
International Recruitment
Here is an example of a Virtual Job Fair for international recruitment that we organized.
Event Duration: 1 day
Participant Profile
Visitors: Job Seekers
Exhibitors: Employers
Event Description
The objective of this International Virtual Job Fair (VJF) is to enable job seekers who have started their immigration process to Canada to network with employers and apply for available jobs. Employers can begin their remote recruitment process with qualified personnel wishing to immigrate to Canada.
To ensure optimal use of employers’ time, a pre-selection of job seekers was conducted by our team and our client. Seven thousand eight hundred (7,800) people completed the registration form before the event. Of this number, 1,575 people were able to access the Virtual Job Fair because they had authorization to work in Canada or had begun the immigration process. Fifty-seven (57) employers participated in the VJF. They added their logo, job offers, videos, images, and virtual rooms to their virtual booths. During the event, they were able to network with job seekers via the chat window and virtual rooms. It was also possible for visitors to schedule an appointment with employers during or after the VJF. Visitors could attend training sessions, conferences, and obtain information about Canadian employers. Once at the VJF, they could search for job offers via the search filter and apply for jobs.
Our Mandate
Our mandate was to provide a robust and intuitive bilingual platform (French and English) to ensure the smooth running of the event. We managed the registrations of job seekers and employers and ensured the proper functioning of the VJF platform during the event.
The Results
Several hundred people participated in the event. Employers conducted dozens of interviews. Employers had access to the resumes of job seekers who visited their virtual booths. They could contact them during and after the VJF.
