Case Study
Virtual Career Day
High School
Here is a case study of a Career Day we organized with a high school.
Event duration: 3 hours
Participant Profile
Visitors: Students
Exhibitors: Employers – English-speaking universities
Event Description
Our client organized a Career and Trades Fair for high school students.
The goal was to allow students to participate in online conferences and network with educational institutions and companies.
Participating companies and universities could create a virtual booth featuring documents, videos, images, and virtual rooms to interact with students. Students were able to access the SVI platform from their classrooms or homes to obtain information about companies, trades, and the various university pathways available.
The three-hour event allowed 260 students to attend conferences and meet with several employers.
Our Mandate
Our mandate consisted of:
- Training our client to be able to manage the event from start to finish on the SVI platform;
- Being available by email during the event to answer technical questions.
Results
The client was able to manage their event with full confidence. The event ran very smoothly; our technical team was available to respond to urgent situations but was never called upon.
The three-hour event allowed the 260 students to participate in conferences, meet several employers, and discuss available degree programs with various universities.
