Case Study
Virtual Career Fair
College and University
Here is a case study of a Career Fair we organized.
Event Duration: 7 days including 1 day of live chat
Participant Profile
Visitors: Students
Exhibitors: Employers
Event Description
Our client, an educational institution, used our SVI platform to launch a Virtual Internship and Job Fair. The objective of the event was to allow employers and students to network and apply for job and internship offers. Employers could welcome students to their virtual booth, which featured their logo, job offers, videos, images, virtual rooms, and a chat window.
To access the Virtual Fair, the 459 participants filled out a personalized registration form. Once on the SVE, students could search for internship and job offers via the search filter and apply directly through the SVI platform.
Our Mandate
Our mandate consisted of managing the event. We were responsible for branding the SVI platform with the event’s colors, adding the client’s custom images, and training employers to complete their virtual booths. During these training sessions, employers were able to see how the platform works and perform chat meeting simulations with our team.
Results
During the event, more than 100 employers presented a total of 450 job and internship offers, for a total of 775 positions to be filled. Nearly 460 students visited the virtual fair, explored the various offers, and connected with employers through live chat features.
Employers had access to students’ resumes during online meetings and were able to track visit statistics for their virtual booths.
